Here’s the best of what’s landing on store shelves in February 2018.

Do You C?

The fact that vitamin C is packed with skin-care benefits is hardly breaking news. So why is the antioxidant-rich ingredient suddenly all the rage? Aside from its ability to neutralize damage-causing free radicals, vitamin C is also stellar at stabilizing and boosting collagen, making it one of the most powerful anti-aging molecules on the market. No wonder Kiehl’s made it the star ingredient in its latest product, which promises to smooth the skin surface and reduce fine lines and wrinkles in just a few weeks.

Kiehl’s Powerful-Strength Line Reducing Concentrate Vitamin C Serum, $79 for 50 mL at kiehls.ca.

Fit to Print

Hayley Elsaesser is bringing her eye-catching patterns to the beauty game. The Toronto-based designer has teamed up with Canadian cosmetics brand Annabelle to create a capsule collection of brightly coloured lipsticks, all playfully packaged in Elsaesser’s signature quirky prints. The collection features a total of 10 shades, six of which will be available in drugstores across Canada, and four sold exclusively online, starting February 26.
